League Kit

League Night Gear Checklist | What to Pack for Bowling

A good league kit prevents small problems from turning into missed frames. Pack for clean shoes, consistent grip, ball maintenance, and simple transport.

Core gear: Bring the ball or balls you actually use, bowling shoes, and a bag that protects both. A two-ball setup often covers one strike option and one spare option for league night.

Grip and hand care: Tape, a skin patch, a small towel, and approved grip aids help manage changing hand size and moisture. Keep anything messy or rule-sensitive out of play until you confirm league rules.

Surface maintenance: A microfiber towel and approved cleaner help keep reaction readable. Wipe between shots, clean after the set, and save deeper surface work for a pro shop when reaction fades.

Approach protection: Shoe covers are cheap insurance around spilled drinks, wet parking lots, and dusty walkways. A predictable slide starts before you step on the approach.
